Meet Jean Cheoruny/artist mentor
A seven night and seven day retreat for new and emerging artists who believe that all people should have beauty in their lives. You will love this retreat all inclusive! Artist who are looking to expand their connection to others and their creative selves should join this one of a kind retreat fo only eight people.
The process of growing as an artist is daunting. You will explore the strategies of making your art stand out. Working on your daily and monthly commitments to achieve your goals, building a tool kit for organization of art inventory and art show schedules will help you gain assurance about the direction of your art career.
Overview
Participants will experience a workshop in paradise.

7AM Breakfast
8AM Defining your style workshop. Worksheets provided.
We will look at your style and discuss what your vision is for it.
9AM Session One: How to track and love your style and vision.
10AM Break
10:30-12 Session Two: Working in pencil by the beach. ( Journals are necessary so please bring the one you are working on or a new one.) Create in your own style and use this new art in a new collection. We learn to do art and business everyday.
12PM Lunch
1PM Session Two: Looking and discussing work from the morning and more work time in paradise by the pool. Drinks and snacks provided.
3PM Free time Review notes or work on collection.
6 PM Dinner
7 PM Evening Wrap-up and take aways.
Day Two: Finding representation for your art.
Day Three: Becoming organized for your take aways.
Day Four: Clarifying your vision.
Day Five: Let your passion drive your vision. Living your dream as an artist.
Island Excursion will be as the group decides.
Day Six: Sharing and reflexions in morning and afternoon sessions. Free time after 3 PM
Relaxation, Food, and reflection
Island transportation, meals, and lodging included in price: participants pay for Friday night dinner at Zeerovers.
Island Excursion
Join local curators at ArtisA Gallery in San Nicolas followed by a tour of the murals given by Jean.
Eat at Zeerovers on the way home. Zeerovers is a popular hangout for locals with fresh catches each day. Best fish and chips on the island with fried plantain. For dessert local coconut ice cream.
All other meals are prepared by Chef Hal Colston.
Rest and reflection
Plenty of time to relax by the pool and journal, paint, draw. Take a relaxing dip in the saltwater pool on a floaty with a drink.
Limit is 4 lodging people on this exclusive training camp for artists.
Two private rooms and one double are available.
4 local artists are welcome and pay for food and day to day.
